I loved reading all of the comments on my planning ahead and fitness posts. The blogging community is quite the inspirational group. 🙂 Now, let’s jump into Marvelous Monday.

Marvelous is a new quinoa recipe (at the bottom of this post).

My parents are always eager to let me raid their kitchen take some of their food. I made this quinoa recipe using ingredients they had in their kitchen. Easy, delicious and healthy.

Hello dinner for the next week!

quiona

Question of the day: Do you mind eating the same meal for a week? What are some foods you never get sick of?

Have a wonderful first day of the rest of the week!

  1. Love quinoa! I never get tired of eating salads, ground turkey, tuna. Those are in my rotation of meals every week.

  2. Nancy Vetter says:

Quinoa … gotta look into that more. I like a food you can make colorful. Is there anything wrong with wanting soup and crackers every night of the week? If not, I’m okay.

  3. jumpeatrun says:

My dinners usually change each night, but i definitely eat the same salad everyday for lunch.

  4. Love taking (stealing) ingredients from my parents kitchen…slash my kitchen since I moved back home gah! Quinoa recipe looks delish!

I basically eat the same meals all week long. I eat a whole variety of desserts though 😉

  5. mvwinter27 says:

Thanks for the quinoa recipe- I love trying quinoa in different ways.
I eat the same things over and over again and never get sick of them. For example, I have a yogurt bowl every single day with Chobani, berries, granola, and nut butter. Never gets old!

How I luv Marvelous Mondays…always look forward to it!
Can NOT eat same food for week – think I will try the Coloful
    Quinoa – looks SOOOOOO good!
    Great Pic of the Parents!!!

  7. This quinoa looks fantastic! If it tastes good, I can pretty much eat it all week long because lazy 😀

  8. I was totally thinking about making those blondies this weekend!! I ended up making my own cookie recipe though 🙂

  9. I love chocolate covered Katie! I’ve made the chic pea blondes before

  10. bezzymates says:

Great recipe. I have come to love quinoa. Thanks for sharing this. Have a Terrific Tuesday!

  11. Brittany says:

HAHA that text convo made me laugh out loud!! What a genius reply!

  12. Christine says:

Ohh that quinoa looks amazing! I like reading about Katie’s recipes and her pictures are SO gorgeous! I just never have any of the ingredients she uses on hand though!

  13. That recipe looks so tasty and the fact that it’s so colorful just makes it that much more exciting! And being ridiculous is the BEST way to live! 😉

  14. Seeing as I’m a big fan of food “grooves,” I definitely don’t mind eating the same thing over and over again. If it’s delicious and I don’t have to think about it too hard? I’m all for it 😀 That being said, I almost never get sick of any type of breakfast food… Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pancakes. Love.them.all.

  15. Love the bond you and your family have. You three are precious. Hope you guys enjoyed every moment together making unforgettable memories 🙂

  16. Caitlyn says:

love quinoa and CCK’s recipes. yes my parents always let me raid their kitchen when i come home, too! it’s the best and the nicest.

  17. This quinoa salad sounds so good! I love using farm fresh veggies and making healthy meals. I’m a huge fan of leftovers and having healthy foods on hand.

  18. I have been known to eat the same thing for a week straight. I am a creature of habit- and I’m lazy.. Oftentimes I just don’t feel like thinking up something else to cook! 🙂 I am definitely like that with quinoa because one small change makes it a new recipe!

  19. I haven’t made a cck recipe in a while, but they’re soooo good! I made her deep dish chocolate chip cookie once, and it was fantastic.
I love eating the same meal over and over if it’s one I like! I love making huge batches of grain/bean salads (like your quinoa!) and having them as leftovers for at least an entire week. I think the flavors get even better when they get a chance to sit for a bit! 🙂

  20. Mmmm quinoa! I love that it made so much, too. That text made me laugh 😉

  21. Cindy says:

Yum! I love quinoa and I love making a big batch, so I can eat for the week. I just thinking cooking one big meal makes eating healthy easier and less tempting to eat junk 😀

  22. Joy says:

How many servings are in this recipe?
