Twas the day before Thanksgiving, when all through the house
Not a creature was eating, not even a mouse.
That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but when it comes to the biggest eating holiday of the year, what’s the best approach to take?
I resort to moderation. Here are some tips to fight the urge to eat and eat solely for pleasure:
- Don’t skip meals
- Drink lots of liquids like water and tea
- Pamper yourself to distract your mind from overeating
- If you get ancy, learn to embrace the feelings and go for a walk
- Focus on loving and enjoying your company, because that’s what it’s all about
My approach is to indulge without going over board. After all, I need to be ready to rock and roll on black Friday!
