Foodie Question

In an attempt to conserve food, I decided to cook my somewhat mushy blackberries (those things are too expensive to waste). I added an apple (also a little mushy), cinnamon, a little almond milk….

And then I added pickled cabbage. The famous last words, right? I actually saw a recipe for this combination on Pinterest.

To be fair, the cabbage wasn’t the problem. After mixing all the ingredients together, I decided to add some almond extract. I’m guilty of never measuring in the kitchen so I accidentally added too much extract!

So, I’ve got a bunch of cooked fruit that needs a little tweaking and reasoning. Maybe I could make it into a pie?

Any ideas on what to do with this or should I just toss it and move on to the next? 😀
